Engineered for Florida & HVHZ

Engineered to the 2023 Florida Building Code for the HVHZ (ASCE 7-22) and PE-sealed — Florida's most stringent wind standard. Wind ratings vary by fence height. The sealed engineering supports permit applications throughout Florida wherever local code and zoning allow a privacy fence; permits have been issued in Miami-Dade and Broward.

We're good, but we're not magicians.

If your fence is installed in or near a coastal area, see “Coastal Zones” below for zone definitions. Direct-marine / salt-spray environments are not covered by this warranty. For near-coastal installations beyond the direct-marine zone, registration within 30 days of installation — including the distance from saltwater — is required for any near-coastal coverage to apply.

The fine print, unfined.

ecFence panels are backed by a 25-year limited warranty on PPGL (Pre-Painted Galvalume®) products purchased on or after October 1, 2026 — the 25-year clock runs from the date of original purchase. Products purchased before October 1, 2026 remain covered under the prior 15-year warranty, regardless of when they were manufactured.

At our discretion, ecFence repairs or replaces the defective product, or issues a prorated store credit toward an equivalent ecFence product: 100% in years 1-10, 70% of current retail value in years 11-18, and 40% in years 19-25. Replacement materials do not restart the warranty clock.

ecFence aluminum trim, powder-coated posts, gate frames, and the surface-mount post carry a 5-year finish-only warranty against chipping, peeling, and excessive fade. Below-grade post portions and installer field-cut edges are not covered.

For the 25-year limited warranty (products purchased on or after October 1, 2026), and for property sales closing on or after September 4, 2026, the warranty transfers to a new property owner for a $50 fee. The written request must be submitted within 60 days of the sale, or the transfer is forfeited and the warranty remains personal to the original purchaser. The request must include: proof of property transfer, original proof of purchase or prior warranty registration, and the installation address. The remaining warranty period continues unchanged — a transfer does not extend or restart it.

ecFence Systems is a DBA of Aluminm Inc.; all warranty obligations are backed by Aluminm Inc. Coverage applies to normal residential and light-commercial fence use within the contiguous United States (lower 48).

ecFence panels installed near saltwater are covered based on distance from the coastline, not a blanket exclusion.

Direct-marine / salt-spray (excluded): within 1,500 ft of open ocean coastline, 800 ft of a large bay, or 400 ft of a saltwater marsh. Not covered under this warranty.

Near-coastal (reduced-term, conditional): beyond those distances but still near saltwater. Coverage applies at a reduced term and requires a documented freshwater-rinse maintenance schedule. Registration is required within 30 days of installation, including distance from saltwater, for coverage to apply.
